A bicycle-based program:
to help children stay healthy,
to reduce air and water pollution
to increase local prosperity
PEDAL is an organization that takes a technology that is for the most part two circles and two triangles—the bicycle—and employs it to help solve some complex problems e.g., unhealthy ecologies, stressed local economies and physically inactive children. This website contains all the basic information needed to put this technology to work.
Program Information: This includes how the program works, its goals, its benefits, special events, and program statistics.
Member Services: This includes a list of participating organizations, the calendar, newsletter archive and youth gallery. (And, eventually, all the forms needed to participate.)
Research: This includes a list of studies and other information that reveals the science behind what we do.
Links: Important links to other websites in the areas of bicycle advocacy, bicycle resources, bicycle science, local commerce and “car troubles.”
